[et_pb_section][et_pb_row][et_pb_column type=”4_4″][et_pb_text]Sophia DeSantis is a proud wife and mother of three. She is also the owner of Veggies Don’t Bite, a cooking blog dedicated to healthy and delicious recipes for the whole family. Read our Sophia DeSantis interview to see how she started her blog and the philosophy behind it.

1. How did you start your website and, most importantly, why?

I started my site because my husband had some health problems that we changed our diet to help control. He was cured within 3 months of going plant-based. Since I had to recreate everything we ate, I decided to document it all on a website because my friends and family were all asking for the recipes, and I figured if I could help someone else that would be an added bonus.

2. What is your biggest motivation now, when creating content?

I now create recipes to share with others and show them that eating healthy doesn’t mean sacrificing taste, flavor or things you want to eat. Sophia DeSantis Interview (Veggies Don't Bite): The Joy of Eating Healthy

3. Which is your favorite kitchen tool?

I love my Vitamix, hands down. Second is my food processor.

4. Which is the best cooking tip you’ve ever received?

The best cooking tip I can share create what you feel inside, not what others want you to. Then your food will be truly amazing. Sophia DeSantis Interview (Veggies Don't Bite): The Joy of Eating Healthy

5. What does a healthy meal mean to you?

Healthy to us means fresh organic produce and other plant-based ingredients created into a hearty, comforting delicious meal.

6. Which chef has inspired you the most?

My mom is my biggest inspiration. She is a phenomenal cook.
